New Features in Gmail November 10, 2006

They have added this nifty little reply menu at the top of messages, so you don’t have to scroll to the bottom of a message. For multiple person conversations, it will make a little notification tray come up and tell you when there is a new message in the conversation.
Also, in Google Talk (or Gmail Chat) you can send messages to people who are offline.
